The Hawaiʻi connection
First Hawaiian traces its roots to Bishop & Co., founded in Honolulu in 1858, which makes it the oldest bank in the state. It was owned by the French bank BNP Paribas before returning to the public market in an August 2016 IPO. Its price history here starts from that IPO.
